First of all, We hope that you are safe and well and I would like to sincerely thank you for your support and most importantly  for your trust in our Riad Alassala and in the measures we have taken to make your stay safe.

There have been few changes and I would like to share with you what we have undertaken to reflect current advice and meet the latest Government guidance.

·         Social distancing

We’ll be limiting the number of our guests and there will be social distancing guidance throughout. Please do your part by following the advice as best you can.

·         Keep right when walking

When walking through the Riad we ask you to keep right, this makes for an easy and efficient way to maintain social distancing and greatly reduces the chances of bumping into another person.

·         Cleaning & disinfection

We will be increasing cleaning and disinfection of all public areas and guest rooms, paying special attention to high-touch items. This will be carried out more frequently in a day. Use of bedrooms will be rotated based on occupancy to enable a deep clean after every stay.

·         Sanitise

We will be providing hand sanitiser for use throughout the hotel. Dispensers will be located on each floor and in all public areas.

·         Face coverings

Face coverings are mandatory in the Riad public areas for guests and staff.

·         Symptoms

Please do not travel if you present any symptoms. A detailed quarantine procedure has been established if a guest or an employee is diagnosed positive for Covid 19.

·         Test & trace

It is now a lawful requirement that each guest should download “Wiqaytna” application, which is a test and trace application.

·         Luggage

All guest luggage will be sanitised at the entrance of the Riad upon your arrival. However, Riad staff are asked to refrain from handling guests’ luggage unless there is a particular need.

·         Stairs

All the stairs will be disinfected regularly few times per a day.

·         Check-in & Check-out

A temperature control is carried out on all resident and non-resident customers accessing the Riad and on all employees.

We will endeavour to contact guests prior to arrival to confirm an approximate arrival time to minimise time at check-in.

·         Cash free payment

We offer cash-free methods of payment including contactless payment methods.

·         Food & beverage

The restaurants as well as the relaxation areas in the lobby and in the Terrace have been redesigned in order to comply with social distancing requirements.

Many things have changed, new measures have been put in place, new systems have been introduced, but one thing has not. It will always endure. The big and sincere smile on the face of your host, Bouchta, when he opens the Riad’s door to welcome you, will always be there.
